This week, we talk about the quarterfinal matchup against Canada as well as our semifinal matchup against Panama from Wednesday night of this week, which ultimately saw the end of the US’ run at the Gold Cup.
We will spend the majority of the time looking at each player’s stock in the overall setup of the USMNT player pool. Who earned another look? Who played themselves out of the pool? And just give a current state of the USMNT program moving forward since they will be back with their clubs until our next friendlies in September.
We will then take a very quick look at the USWNT as they prepare for their opening Women’s World Cup match next Thursday evening and wrap things up with some final thoughts of the week.
